"Toy Cricket" was inspired by an amorphous group of mainly Wimbledon youths, whilst waiting for the pubs to open on summer Sunday afternoons, back in the days before all day opening.
The spirit still lives on in a haphazardly arranged game, played by anyone who can be bothered to appear.
